FWSDR - A firmware for turning the high-end digitizer ADQ14 into a Software Defined Radio | ||
In this issue SP Devices is pleased to announce the new firmware which turns the high-end, multi-channel digitizer ADQ14 into a Software Defined Radio. |
||
APPLICATIONS1. Software Defined Radio FWSDR FIRMWAREThe FWSDR firmware includes complex mixer for I and Q signals which in combination with decimation selects the frequency band of interest. The decimation factor can be set from 2 up to 2^32 to match the bandwidth of the input signal, and higher order decimation is perfect for accurate noise analysis. The high image suppression of 125 dB enables frequency selection with high precision. FEATURESDC-coupled ADQ14 models can be used with FWSDR in order to implement a zero-IF receiver and for such configurations the digitizer is directly connected to a wideband IQ demodulator IC.
